Corn planting at 10 percent is 25 points behind the 5-year average. Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota running well behind the average pace with Illinois off 49 points. In fact as you look at the latest numbers, only two of the 18 major corn states are ahead of normal...Colorado and Pennsylvania.
