At the conclusion of the Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour last week, I spoke with Pro Farmer Senior Market Analyst Brian Grete about what the potential crop will do to the market prices of the commodities. He says an acreage battle is shaping up this fall between corn, beans, wheat and cotton. He also notes that fundamentals aren't necessarily the driving force in todays markets. We also talked about the correlation between the crude oil markets and soybeans and we also got talking about how the rest of this growing season will come down to water and temperature or the lack thereof.
