Crop Condition Goes Down on September 1.

Corn dropped 3% from the good to excellent category in the past week. 61% of the nation's corn is in the good to excellent category. One year ago it was 59%. Soybeans dropped 4% to 57% good to excellent. One year ago it was 56%.

Corn is still behind the normal maturing pace. 45% is dented nationwide compared to the 5-year average of 65%. One year ago 75% of the corn was dented.
