November 3rd Harvest Progress Report

Corn harvest is 55% complete as of Sunday, Nov 2, 2008. The average for the past 5 years is 79%. Soybean harvest nationwide is 86% done with the 5-year average at 89%.
Minnesota is 97% done on soybeans, Iowa at 93% complete. Corn harvest in the western and central cornbelt is running anywhere from 25% to 35% behind the 5-year average.
